About Me
Hi, I’m Kevin — and I believe facilitation isn’t about having the answers.
It’s about creating spaces where people feel brave enough to find their own.
I’m the founder of The Facilitator’s Café — a virtual hub where facilitators, trainers and coaches gather to explore ideas, experiment with tools, and grow their practice.
Whether you’re leading in the boardroom, the classroom, or the breakout room, this is a place to stay inspired, get challenged, and never feel like you’re doing it alone.
But here’s the truth…
I didn’t start The Café to teach.
I started it because I craved conversation.
The real kind. The messy, curious, what-if-we-tried-this kind.
👣 My journey (the short version)
Over the past 20 years, I’ve designed and delivered leadership development programmes for global brands, coached hundreds of mid-career professionals, and facilitated everything from executive off-sites to community hackathons.
But something was missing.
I kept meeting brilliant facilitators who felt isolated, stuck in their own heads, or quietly doubting their impact.
So I built a space where we could connect — not just around how we facilitate, but why.
That space became The Facilitator’s Café.

♥️ What I care about
-
Helping facilitators become redundant — because the magic happens when participants take the lead.
-
Making reflection part of the rhythm, not an afterthought.
-
Using AI with intention — as a co-host, not a shortcut.
-
Designing spaces that welcome every voice, not just the loudest.
-
Challenging the status quo of “expert at the front” facilitation.

☕ A few fun facts to know about me…
👑 Had lunch with Princess Anne – yes, the actual Princess Royal. We talked leadership (and maybe sandwiches).
🪂 Jumped out of a plane — a tandem skydive from 10,000 feet. Terrifying. Exhilarating. Would do it again (probably).
🦍 Sat with mountain gorillas in the Virunga Mountains — a quiet, powerful moment I’ll never forget.
🚔 Spent time in jail — Dartmoor Prison, as part of Barnardo’s “Lock Up Your Boss” charity campaign.
👋 Want to connect?
Pull up a chair at our next gathering, check out the Studio tools, or drop me a note — I’d love to hear from you.
Because facilitation doesn’t have to be lonely.
And the best ideas?
They’re usually sparked over coffee.
